SEA TURTLES:

Sea turtles have been roaming our oceans for millions of years. They are among the longest-living animals on earth and can migrate extraordinary distances, sometimes for thousands of miles, as they return to their native beaches to lay the eggs of the next generation.

SEA TURTLES AND HUMANS::tombstone:

Since 1963, green sea turtles have undergone a process of domestication at farms around the world. There they are slaughtered and turned into turtle meat to be eaten. The only good thing is that they are raised on a farm and not taken from the wild.
Turtles don't only die from humans by being slaughtered also from our littering and fishing. Fishermen use long fishing lines to fish for swordfish. Turtles get caught in these lines and drown because they cant get up for air. Turtles need to breath every 20 minutes. Turtles die from us littering the waters. For example, a turtles once swallowed a big coffee bag that looked like algae and had the rest of the bag tangled around one front flipper, making it hard for it to swim and increasing the chance of being killed.

Now there are only 7 species of sea turtles left:

Green sea turtle[link]
Leatherback sea turtle[link]
Loggerhead sea turtle[link]
Hawksbill sea turtle[link]
Flatback sea turtle[link]
Olive Ridley[link]
Kemp's Ridley[link]

HOW YOU CAN HELP :teamwork::

GO onto [link], Save The Sea Turtles Foundation, and [link], Leatherback Trust, where you can donate, learn how to save the sea turtles, and even adopt a turtle nest! I have now an adopted nest of my own for just $40.00! The money goes into donation.
With your tax deductible contribution in the amount of $40.00 you will receive a certificate and picture of the nest with your individual name, company name and/or group name posted on the stake marking the nest. After the nest hatches, you will receive information about the nest and how many of your hatchlings were released into the ocean.
Please help save the turtles from extinction!
Together we can save the SEA TURTLES!

I'm Back!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great two weeks. I surely did!
Africa was great, we went on safaris where we got face to face with animals like hippos, crocs, and elephant, climbed mountains, learned how to water ski and wind surf on lake Malawi, went snorkeling, and jumped off huge rocks.
Dont worry, I took many photos to remember it and I will post them on for you to see. :camera: :D
